These Terms of Use (also referred to as “Terms and Conditions”) set out the rules for using our website, www.premiumplates.com. By accessing or using the site, you agree to comply with these terms. If you disagree with any part, you must not use the website.

We recommend you save a copy of these terms. Updates may be made periodically, and continued use of the site means you accept any changes.
1. Contact and Communication
1.1 You can contact us via email at sales@premiumplates.com.
1.2 We aim to respond to electronic communications within 24 hours (Mon–Fri). Messages received outside business hours may take up to 72 hours.
1.3 Postal responses will take 3–5 working days, with an additional 5 days for delivery. If you don’t specify your preferred method of communication, we’ll reply via email.
2. Our Agreement With You
2.1 Our contract concerns the manufacture of custom number plates.
2.1.1 Once your order is placed and printed, it becomes a bespoke item and cannot be refunded.
2.5 Completed plates undergo a Quality Control check.
2.6 Orders that pass Quality Control move to packing and dispatch. Orders that fail return to production.
2.7 Orders are dispatched using your selected delivery method at checkout.
3. Documentation and Products
3.1 Premium Plates sells physical number plates only—not vehicle registration marks.
3.2 You are responsible for entering the correct registration and spacing in our plate builder. We print exactly what is entered.
3.3 Images on our website are illustrative. Actual products may vary.
3.4 It is your responsibility to ensure correct plate sizing for your vehicle.
4. Changes, Refunds, and Cancellations
4.1 Contact us promptly for changes. We’ll inform you of any additional costs or delays.
4.2 We may modify plate materials or adjust character spacing if needed.
4.3 The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Distance Selling (Jersey) Law 2007 states goods are exempt from the requirement to provide a right to cancel due to the goods being made to the consumer’s specifications. Subsequently there is no ‘cooling off period’, the transaction cannot be reversed and no refund can be given. Therefore It is the sole responsibility of the Purchaser to ensure that all details are entered onto Company Internet forms and submitted correctly. Under the Distance Selling Regulations the Company must notify you that the service we provide begins as soon as an order is received online.
4.4 A cancellation fee of £3.99 per plate applies.
4.5 Postage, accessories, and kits may be refunded at our discretion.
5. Delivery
5.1 Orders with documents submitted by 13:00 are processed the same working day.
5.2 Orders after 13:00 on Fridays or weekends are processed on the next working day.
5.3 Delivery options:
• Standard Delivery: £6.99
• Express Tracked (order before 1pm): £9.99
5.4 We do not guarantee Saturday delivery.
5.5 Delivery timelines are indicative only.
5.6 We’re not responsible for courier-related delays.
5.7 & 5.8 Incorrect delivery method or address selection is your responsibility.
5.9 We may contact you if the shipping address seems incorrect.
5.10 Damage must be reported via email with photographs, including the QC label.
5.11 Couriers attempt delivery twice; after this, items may be destroyed. Premium Plates will not replace these.
5.12 Lost items are confirmed as such only after 14 days. Replacements are at our discretion.
5.13 Refunds for lost goods may require a postal investigation.
5.14 Damaged or unsatisfactory items will be replaced once verified with photographic evidence.
6. Returns
6.1 Custom plates are non-returnable.
6.2 Accessories may be returned if:
• They are faulty
• Incorrect items were received
6.3 We reserve the right to refuse returns.
6.4 Return costs are your responsibility.
6.5 We do not accept returns of discontinued products.
7. Defective Products
7.1 All products are quality-checked before dispatch.
7.2 Defects must be reported with photographs.
7.3 Report issues within 24 hours of delivery.
7.4 All reports are reviewed by our operations team. Their decision is final.
8. Prices and Payments
8.1 Prices are displayed at checkout. We aim for accuracy.
8.3 If pricing errors occur, we may cancel your order and refund you.
8.4 We accept most major cards and PayPal. Payment is due upon ordering.
9. Privacy and Data
9.1 Your data is processed in line with our Privacy Policy.
10. Legal Use of Number Plates
10.1 UK registration format:
• 2 area letters
• 2 age numbers
• Space
• 3 random letters
10.2 You must follow DVLA display regulations. Misrepresentation is an offence.
10.3 Legal font sizes and spacing apply. See the DVLA guidance.
10.4 Motorcycles have separate display rules.
10.5 Flags and identifiers must follow legal specifications.
10.6 Green flashes are allowed on eligible electric vehicles only.
11. Copyright and Usage
11.1 Website content belongs to Premium Plates or its licensors.
11.2 No content may be copied or reused without permission.
11.3 Trademarks and logos are protected.
11.4 You may not misuse the website or its content.
12. Links to Other Websites
12.1 We’re not responsible for third-party content linked on our website.
12.2 You must request permission to link to our website.
13. Viruses and Security
13.1 We cannot guarantee the website is virus-free.
13.2 Use up-to-date antivirus software.
13.3 Do not misuse the website in any unlawful or harmful manner.
14. Liability
14.1 Our liability to you is limited by law.
14.2 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

17.2 Only you and Premium Plates have rights under this contract.

18. Warranty
18.1 Covers manufacturing defects for 3 years.
18.2 Excludes fitting damage and general wear.
18.3 Warranty claims must be supported by photos and proof of purchase.
19. Returns and Refunds
19.1 Due to the bespoke nature of custom number plates, returns and refunds are not available once an order has been printed.
19.2 Accessories and non-custom items may be eligible for a refund or exchange at our discretion.
19.3 Refunds will not be provided for items returned without authorisation.
19.4 All return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.
19.5 Return requests must be made within 14 days of delivery and accompanied by supporting evidence (e.g. photos of defects).
20. No Subscription Services
20.1 Premium Plates does not offer any form of recurring subscription service.
20.2 Any purchases made via the website are one-off transactions unless explicitly stated otherwise.
20.3 If you believe you have been charged on a recurring basis in error, contact us immediately at sales@premiumplates.com.
